Schede primarie
She got the degree in Industrial Chemistry at University of Bologna in March 1987 discussing an experimental thesis on synthesis of mixed oxide catalysts for higher alcohols production by syngas. Until 2000 she was involved in research about synthesis of ceramic materials and biomaterials taking part in national and European projects as researcher, first (1988-1994)at TEMAV Reserch Center (ENI Group) and then (1994-2000) as permanent researcher at ENEA, producing, in addition to papers, two Italian Patents on the synthesis of bioceramic materials, hydroxyapatite and alfa and beta tricalcium phosphate. From 2000 to 2004 she was involved in chemical analysis and stable isotope mass spectrometry about environmental samples and radiocarbon measurements.
Since 2010 she is working in ENEA, Air Pollution Laboratory in experimental activities for the chemical characterization of aerosol, participating to projects financed by Italian Ministry of the Environment, Health and regional governments (for example MINNI- Integrated National Model in support to the International Negotiation on Air Pollution; EPIAIR - Air pollution and health epidemiological surveillance and prevention; Tecnopolo-ENEA- Emilia Romagna High Technology Network). My contributes to the experimental activities of Air Pollution Laboratory concern chemical and physical characterization of the aerosols (characterization of particulate matter by means of off-line, metals and trace elements, anhydrosugars, water-soluble inorganic ions, carbonaceous aerosol, and on-line measurements, non-refractory organic fraction and secondary ions, water-soluble inorganic ions, carbonaceous aerosol); sampling campaign for the evaluation/validation of Air quality model performance.
