Graduated in Physics in 2000 at the University of Naples "Federico II", in 2007 she received her Ph.D. in Atmospheric Physics at UMBC (University of Maryland Baltimore County) in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, with an experimental study on the indirect effect of aerosols on cloud microphysics by means of a Lidar Raman. She has worked on topics related to the characterization of the atmosphere through remote sensing. She has also been involved in air quality modeling and in particular in simulating the effects of aerosols on radiation. At the beginning of her experience at ENEA she worked as part of the project "Tecnopolo" of the Emilia Romagna Region. She is currently engaged in the study of local and microscale Lagrangian models for assessing the impact of industrial activity and traffic on air quality.
