I obtained my degree in Physics (October 2003) and my PhD in Physics (February 2007) from the University of L’Aquila.From 2007 to 2009 I was post-doctoral fellow at NIWA and from 2009 to 2010 I was post-doctoral fellow at DLR. Since 2011 I’m researcher at ENEA.
My research focuses on Earth system modeling and model evaluation to better understand chemistry-climate interactions and climate change. I contributed to World Meteorological Organization (WMO) ozone assessments since 2010. I have been involved in various international projects (CCMVal-2, ACCMIP, CCMI-1, ESMValTool). I partecipated to the EU H2020 project CRESCENDO, H2020 S2S4E and H2020 SECLI-FIRM. I hold the Italian National Scientific Habilitation as Associate professor in Physics (Sector 02C1 valid from 28/03/2017 to 28/03/2023).
