Melania Michetti got a PhD in “Quantitative Methods for Economic Policy” at the Catholic University of Milan (2012) and an MSc in Economics at the Warwick University-UK (2010).
From 2007 to 2011, she worked at the FEEM Foundation (Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei) on the formulation of socio-economic indicators for sustainable development objectives. During 2012-2019, she worked at the CMCC Foundation (Euro-Mediterranean Centre on Climate Change Foundation) mainly on climate change and policies impact assessment; she also contributed to the development and implementation of model couplings in the view of integrated impact assessment.
During 2016-2019, as a grant researcher at Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna, she joined the Department of Agricultural Sciences to support research activities on circular and bio-based economy, innovation and performance in agriculture.
In 2018 and 2019, within the European Topic Centre on Climate Change (ETC/CCA), she provided expert support to the writing of two technical reports of the European Environmental Agency (EEA) in the areas of Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation in agriculture.
in February 2019 she joined ENEA to work on the impact of climate change and air pollution on society and economy.
